Q: Can I do my own installation?
A: Yes, but it is not recomended you do so. Retractable screens must be carefully measured for fit. Also doing your own installation on these screen doors will void all warrantees.

Q: My screen needs servicing, how do I go about it?
A: Just contact your nearest dealer or call 1-888-474-2686, and they will be happy to repair/replace (at their discretion) your screen for you. If the screen is out of warranty, there will be a service charge plus material costs.

Q: Can the screen door be locked?
A: Yes, with an optional latch kit. Please bear in mind this is a screen door and provides no security benefits.

Q: What about pets/animals, can they get out?
A: The screen will keep pets/animals in or out to a degree, the screen is not secured at the top or bottom, therefor it is possible for a pet/animal to push it's way underneath. Also a larger pet/animal could possibly tear the mesh and/or cause it to snap open.

Q: How easy is it for children to operate.
A: Very easy, there is no real harm they can do to the door, but they should be shown how to operate it.

Q: What about cleaning, what do I use and how often should I do it?
A: Use only mild cleansers (such as dishwashing liquid) only, any harsh cleaners (such as powder cleansers) or chemicals will void the warranty. It is recomended you clean the tracks at least once a month to remove any debris. After cleaning, always lightly coat track with silicon spray lubricant (included).
